Grimm Tales is an online literary journal where fiction, nonfiction, poetry, visual art, and photography focusing on themes of darkness find a home. Pieces haunted by their pasts and reaching for the sky, whether in defeat or scrabbling for the sun. We deliver unhappy endings, or just desserts, and accept that we can’t change our pasts.
For fiction and nonfiction, we accept anything up to 4,000 words.
For poetry, we accept up to 5 poems, but no more than a total of 60 lines.
For visual art and photography, we accept up to 5 submissions.
You can certainly mix and match with your submission.
